The Samaj has consistently supported a variety of charitable causes, both locally and internationally. On weekdays, the Prajapati Hall in Neasden is rented to Seva Education, which focuses on the welfare and education of children with disabilities. Earlier this year, we participated in a charity walk alongside the SPA UK Youth Team to raise funds for St. Luke's Hospice in Kenton, Harrow. Our Social Walkers club has also raised funds for Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children. In the past, we've also organized eye camps in India to provide much-needed medical care.
Over the last few years, essential maintenance and improvements have been made to the building to ensure its safety, functionality, and appearance. This included repairs to the roof, updates to windows and air conditioning units, as well as painting and general upkeep of both the interior and exterior. Further work involved upgrading security systems, improving drainage, and enhancing ventilation. These efforts contributed to maintaining a secure, comfortable, and well-maintained space.
We greatly appreciate the assistance provided by our members, whose voluntary efforts and financial contributions have been invaluable in supporting the upkeep of the property.
